THE VIDEO THE SOUNDTRACK
Local artist and former proprietor Benjamin Arthur Ellis has completed his documentary account of the rise and fall of the X-Ray Cafe, Portland, Oregon's most distinctive nightclub from 1990-1994. Featuring a rich tapestry of artistry and oddity, set against the backdrop of the Northwest "alt-rock" explosion of the early 90s, this feature-length video presentation is "the little engine that could" of rockumentaries.
